Beach Cities Friends of Habitat for Humanity

About Us

Habitat for Humanity International seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

The overwhelming need for housing in Los Angeles County has provided Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles with a unique opportunity to change lives in our neighborhoods. In our market, Habitat for Humanity is one of the few – if not the only – affordable homeownership program that serves families earning 30-80% of the median family income. Cost burden and overcrowding are the most serious problems experienced by very low-income area residents. Working with volunteers, families, corporations, congregations, and donors, Habitat is able to tackle this important housing issue throughout the Los Angeles area.

Beach Cities Friends works to raise awareness and funds for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. We are happy to report that next year Beach Cities Friends will celebrate the 8th anniversary of our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. Since 2002, we have been fortunate to have many amazing supporters, including you. For that, we say Thank You

By contributing to Habitat for Humanity you change lives.

We are overjoyed that together we can continue to support families in our communities, especially during these tough economic times. We are very excited to announce we will be sponsoring our ninth house in the City of Lawndale in 2010 and hope you will consider joining us in these efforts to help families in the South Bay.

Each and every donation to Habitat for Humanity not only changes the lives of families, but also enriches the community which receives greater benefit from our revitalization efforts. The next leg of the Habitat journey in the City of Lawndale is another vast endeavor and will only happen with your continued support. We ask you to help enrich the lives of families in the South Bay in 2010 and donate today. Every contribution counts!
